Chex Mix in the Air Fryer

A classic Chex Mix recipe roasted perfectly in the air fryer. If you and your family are looking for something to snack on, try some Chex Mix. Everybody eats this by the handful at our home. You could make a batch of this and pass a bowl to your kids between meals to keep them happy. It works great for us.

  • Air Fryer
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Small Bowl


  • 1.5 cups Rice Chex
  • 1.5 cups Corn Chex
  • 1.5 cups Wheat Chex
  • 1.5 cups Pretzels
  • 1.5 cups Bugles
  • 1.5 cups Cheese Its
  • 1 cup Roasted Salted Peanuts


  • 4 Tbsp Butter sliced and melted
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Seasoned Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Granulated Onion or onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Granulated Garlic or garlic powder


  • Mix snack ingredients into a large bowl
  • Slice 4 Tbsp of butter to speed up melting
  • Stir the melted butter and the rest of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl
  • Drizzle the sauce over the Chex mix 1/3 at a time carefully stirring after each drizzle
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes
  • Add all of the Chex mix to the air fryer basket or in batches if it all does not fit
  • Air fry at 200°F for 30 minutes shaking/rolling/stirring Chex mix at 15 minutes
  • Pour into a large bowl
  • Snack time!
