Korean BBQ Sauce “Sweet Chili Sauce”

1 Tbsp Crushed Red Peppers | | | |
1 Tbsp Minced Ginger | | | |
1 Tbsp minced Garlic | | | |
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar | | | |
1/4 cup Honey | | | |
1/4 cup Sugar | | | |
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce | | | |
1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce | | | |
1/2 cup Water | | | |
1/2 cup reserved cooking liquid from Korean BBQ Hamburgers | | | |
1 Tbsp Cornstarch | | | |
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients but cornstarch and 1/2 cup of water in instant pot – Press saute
- Bring to a boil while stirring very often for about 5 minutes
- This will have a very pungent smell but it is more than worth it. Turn saute off
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl or cup and add to the instant pot
- Stir well until nice and thick
- Put in a glass bowl or jar
- Add 1/2 cup cooking juices from Korean BBQ Hamburgers and mix well
