Instant Pot Crispy Garlic Parmesan Drumsticks (Chicken Legs)

Cheesy Sauce


12 Chicken Legs (~5 lbs)
2 Tbsp Flavor God Garlic Lovers (or 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder + 1 Tbsp Onion Powder)
1 Tbsp Flavor God Italian Zest (or 2 tsp Italian Seasoning + 1 tsp Paprika)
1 Tbsp Parsley
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Cup Chicken Broth


Mix together Parmesan cheese with all of the seasoning
Oil chicken legs
Cut around the top of the chicken legs cutting through the tendons and push meat down to the bottom of the bone like an upside down mushroom
Smash the legs into the bowl of seasoning to cover all meat well
Store in a 1 gallon ziplock bag for 1 – 24 hours in the fridge
Hit the Saute button on the instant pot, when HOT, add your 3 Tbsp Oil and 1 Cup of chicken broth
Stand up all legs inside the Instant pot so they all fit and cancel Saute
Lid, Seal, and pressure cook for 18 minutes and release pressure when time is up, no natural pressure release
Preheat Air Fryer or broiler to 400 degrees for 5 minutes
Oil air fry basket well and transfer legs to the air fry basket standing so they all fit and spray with oil
Air Fry at 400 degrees for 15 minutes
Remove Plate, cool for 10 minutes and dig in.
